The Gap has closed on The Gap Year
What a year! The next few blogs highlight the friends we met along the way and the friends and family who shared and made our year one to never forget.

Where are we now?
We are in beautiful Tasmania spending time with my family, doing some road trips and eating some great food.
But before leaving the UK, we took the Eurostar to Paris for a fabulous few days as our final European hooray. We had hot but overcast weather and the shopping was great!
We have had mixed weather since being in Tassie, I know, very unusual, and certainly didn't expect to see snow again this year but how wrong can you be! The pics below show only a vey small example of the stunning scenery we have encountered on our road trips.
Our next update will be from 'The Enmore Heights Hilton' when we are back in our home after our gap year but there is still lots more fun to be had before then!
Cheers and love, Vicki and Rob xx

Ireland to be sure
We had two weeks of typical Irish summer weather but it does not rain in a castle or a pub! Invested heavily in Guinness stock.

Brighton and back to Dartford
8 months on the road and we arrived back in Dartford after stops including Brighton and Royal Tonbridge Wells.
What a ride, through four countries and all types of weather, spending 24/7 with each other and we are STILL speaking. What an experience! Della did us proud!
Although Della is not coming with us, off to Ireland next.

Back in old Blighty
After an easy crossing from Santander we arrived in Plymouth and stayed in an apartment in Royal William Yard the old Royal Navy dockyard.
Lovely English summer weather, wet windy with sunshine. Very tasty fish and chips and great Cornish pasties. Getting the suspension on the bike looked at very soon!
